KB BENTONITE; It was established in 2019 with the partnership of KANMER MADENCİLİK and BENTAŞ BENTONİT, taking the initials of both companies.

With Bentaş Bentonite's experience in selling cat litter and industrial bentonite, which it produces in Fatsa Organized Industrial Zone and exports to 75 countries, it was decided to invest in the 2000-hectare licensed Bentonite field in Ürgüp district within Kanmer Madencilik, and thus KB bentonite was born.

Bentonite is a clay group mineral with very small crystals formed as a result of the decomposition of volcanic ash, tuff and lava rich in aluminum and magnesium under high pressure in nature. The majority of bentonite reserves in our country are located in the Ordu-Fatsa region. As KB BENTONİT, we have expanded its product range with gray and other colored bentonites as well as white bentonite, in the work we carried out in our ÜRGÜP AKKÖY mine, and it has a sustainable reserve amount for decades. Our bentonite quarry production capacity is being increased from 70 thousand tons to 700 thousand tons annually. Thus, our raw bentonite exports will start to different countries.

An investment incentive certificate worth 85 million TL has been received for our bentonite processing, drying, screening and packaging facility with an annual capacity of 400 thousand tons, which will be established on a total area of ​​8500 m2 and 2000 m2 closed area, for which the bentonite extracted in our Ürgüp mine has been obtained in our Avanos district. Our current number of employees, which is 13 people, will increase to 50 people with our investment.

Our goal is to create new employment for 150 people by becoming one of the largest industrial facilities of the city and the region with the expansion of the investment, with a total area of ​​40 thousand m2 and a closed area of ​​12 thousand m2. Our aim is to create a large production facility with the investments we have made in our company and our employees, as well as investing in many countries. It touches the lives of millions of people every day, not only in our city and Turkey, but also in other countries.
